Remove Obstacles

Although many will say "Write with no boundaries; Dream big", that is fine if you have unlimited resources.
But for indie films, I believe If you take a few painful days to break down a screenplay as you are writing it, you might very well find you can reduce production days, avoid logistic headaches, and reduce or even eliminate costs just by adjusting a few things. I use MovieMagic Scheduling.
What ever software system you choose, it hopefully gives you a better idea of the degree of work your actors must endure and the level of intensity your crew will be up against when considering team building and casting. You have total control. Ultimately you want a screenplay that offers the least number of obstacles.
